How To Play Craps /Dice
The basic bet is placed on the Pass Line before the shooter rolls the dice.

If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, you win, and the shooter keeps the dice to roll again. If the
shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12, on the first roll the pass line bet is lost but the shooter keeps
the dice and continues to roll until he/she rolls a point number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10). Now
the game begins. If he/she makes the  point you win. If a 7 comes up before the point
number all bets are lost.

In the above, you bet with the shooter. If you want to bet against the shooter, you place
your bet on the Don't Pass line and the rules are reversed except that if, on his first
roll, the shooter rolls 12, it is a push (you neither win nor lose). If a 2, or 3 (craps) rolls
you win.

After the roll has begun and the shooter has a point, you can make a bet by placing it
on the "come" line. The same rules apply to you as if the shooter were making a first
roll: if the next roll is a 7 you win; if it is a 2, 3, or 12, you lose; if it is any other number,
then that becomes your new point and for you to win it must be rolled again before a 7.
If a 7 comes first, the bet is lost.

How to play PASS LINE: It is an even money bet. If the first roll of the dice is a 7 or 11,
you win. If the first roll is a 2, 3, or 12 you lose the bet. Any other number will be the
point number and if the point number is rolled before the 7 you win. But you lose on if
the rolls before the point number.

How to play THE COME BETS.  Basically they are the same as the PASS LINE except
that you bet it after the point.

How to play THE DON'T PASS LINE. It is just the reverse of the PASS LINE, except that
if 12 is the first roll, it's a push. Nobody wins.

THE DON'T COME: The reverse of the COME BET, except that a first roll of 2 or 3 wins,
and 12 is a push.

THE ODDS: Once you have a point number you make the odds bet and win the odds
pay-off if the point is made before a 7.

Payoff for ODDS are:

Two to one for a 10 or 4.
Three to two for 5 or 9.
Six to five for 8 or 6..

When betting DON'T PASS or DON'T COME, you can lay odds.

The ODDS are placed behind your bet on the PASS LINE.

On DON'T PASS bets, your ODDS bet is placed to the side of your bet.

THE PLACE BETS are made after a shooter rolls a point number.

You can make a PLACE BET on the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.

If your number rolls before a seven rolls, you win. Payoff  for place bets are  Nine
dollars for five-dollars on a 4 or 10. Seven for five on a 5 or 9. Seven for six on the 8 or
6.

FIELD: You are betting that a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 is rolls. A one roll bet. 3,4,9.10,11
pays even money. The 2 and 12 will pay double or triple depending on the casino.

BIG 6 OR 8: You may bet one or both and win even money.

PROPOSITION BETS: Include all the bets made in the center of the table.

The 2 and 12 pay thirty for one, the 3 and 11 pay fifteen for one. These are one-roll
bets. The bet loses if the dice do not show a 2, 3, 11, or 12 on the next roll.

You can also bet what is called a HORN bet or a HORN HIGH BET. A HORN bet is a
combination of four numbers, the 2, 3, 11, or 12. A HORN HIGH BET is a wager that has
an extra amount on one of the above four numbers. For example, a $5 HORN HIGH
TWELVE means that a dollar each is upon three of the numbers with $2 on the twelve.

Proposition bets also include HARD WAY BETS, ANY CRAPS and bets on the 11.
When you play craps the proposition bets are considered risky.

HARD WAY BETS: You win if the number comes up exactly as on the table layout and
lose if the number comes up any other way, or if a 7 is thrown. For example, if you
have $1 on the hard 4, the dice must roll two-2's to win. If the dice show a 1 and 3 = 4,
the hardway 2 and 2 bet is lost. HARD WAY bets stay active until the number rolls
otherwise, or if a seven rolls.

Quick Study/ Play Craps and Dice

A pass line bet pays even money
A new pass  line bet is made when the players either win or lose the ongoing play.
A pass line bet wins on the come out roll if a seven or an eleven is thrown.
A pass line bet can lose on the first throw of the dice if,  a craps (2,3, or 12) is thrown.

If the first roll of the dice is a 4,5,6,8,9,or 10, a point number has been established.

If this point number is rolled again before a 7 shows the player wins. If a 7 is thrown
before this point number is rolled again the player loses. In either case, a new number
is now thrown for by the next shooter.

Behind the pass line a player plays the odds. Odds means: you win more than you bet.
Odds are placed behind the pass line bet after the point is established.

Pass line odds pay off.
4&10, you earn $10 for every $5 bet. 2-1.
5&9, you earn $9 for every $6 bet. 3-2.
6&8, you earn $6 for every $5 bet. 6-5.

Place Bets:
Place bets are made after the point is established.
Place bets pay more than the amount bet.
After the point is made you can place a 4,5,6,8,9,or 10 to roll before the seven does.
Place bet odds are a different  pay off than pass line odds:
4&10 earns you $9 for every $5 bet (placed).
5&9 earns you $7 for every $5 bet.
6&8 earns you $7 for every $6 bet.

                                                          Come Bets

Come bets are made after the point is established. When you bet on the come the next
number that rolls becomes an additional point number for you. You can play odds on it,
the same as the pass line odds. If your new number (come bet) rolls before the seven
rolls you win it. You can play the come bet anytime after the point is established. The
same rules apply to it as the pass line bet.

                                                         Don't Bets

Don't bets, unlike the pass line bets, must be made before the point is established.
Once the point is established and the dice roll you win if the dice seven out.
If the point is rolled before the dice seven out, you lose.
If a natural, 7 or 11, is thrown on the come out (new point) the don't loses.
If a craps, 2,3, is thrown on the come out the don't wins.

If a 12 is thrown on the come out the bet is a push. You do not lose or win to the casino.

Odds on the don't bet are called lay bets.
They are made after the point is established.
Lay bets pay the opposite (less) than the pass line bets. Why? You are betting with the
house (casino).
4&10 only pays $5 for every $10 lay. 1for2
5&9 only pays $6 for every $9 lay. 2 for 3
6&8 only pays 5$ for every $6 lay.  5 for 6
